The New York Times published an arresting map which shows the distribution of races in the major U.S. cities. The map shows the percentage of race within each city and it is logical that each of these larger cities will have some percentage of all races. Believe it or not, there are cities and towns with almost 100% of white population, and according to some data, these cities include Wyoming (PA), Farmer City (IL), Minster (OH), and a few others. As for the major cities with highest white population — some of them are San Antonio (TX), Seattle (WA) and Denver (CO), to name a few.

The first one is Minnesota. African Americans make 5% of the population in Minnesota, Hispanic or Latino 4%, Asian 4%, two or more races 2%, some other race 1%, American Indian 1% and Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander, Alaska native below 1%. The next state on our short list should be Kentucky. African Americans make 7% of the population in Kentucky, Hispanic or Latino 3%, Asian 1%, two or more races 1%, some other race 1% and Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander, Alaska native below 1%. Now let’s check out Idaho’s numbers! Hispanic or Latino make 11% of the population in Idaho, some other race 5%, two or more races 2%, American Indian 1%, Asian 1% and Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander, Alaska native and black or African American below 1%. At last, but not least we are mentioning North Dakota now. American Indians make 5% of the population in North Dakota, Hispanic or Latino 2%, black or African American 1%, Asian 1%, two or more races 1% and Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander and some other race below 1%.
