Let’s say you’ve bought a shiny new TV and you want to sell the old one to recover at least something. Back in the days, you would have to post an ad in the local newspapers, and hoped someone would take a look at it and decide to give you a call. But not anymore. With few clicks, your old TV can be on the online market and probably hundreds or thousands people will consider buying it. You have to love technology. Now you can sell and buy virtually anything. You know how they say it: “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure”. That’s the truth. If your old golf clubs are just lying in the garage, that doesn’t mean someone wouldn’t love to play with them every weekend.

Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three apps from their list.

The first one is Carousell. Carousell offers you an opportunity to sell your items both locally and globally, depending on your preferences. Just adjust the settings and you are ready to go. The app is completely free and enables you to be a member of the local groups that are interested in buying and selling the same items you are. The second app is Shpock. Just like the previous app, Shpock also doesn’t charge any fees but does give you an opportunity to pay if you want your item to get more exposure. The app focuses great attention to security and requires you to confirm the profile with FB link or phone number. After you open Shpock, you can set a radius from which the app will show you items for sale. You can choose to display them all or just the kind of items you are interested in. The thrird one is letgo. Sometimes you have to let go of stuff you don’t use, and letgo will make it happen. The app has tens of millions users and it is growing rapidly. After you set up a profile and snap a picture of your item with an in-app camera, letgo will automatically recognize the item and do all the categorization for you. You just have to name your price and wait.
