Germany is an exciting country with lots of market, but what are the best selling consumer products in Germany? Insider Monkey has recently published an interesting article about this topic. Nowadays we live in a consuming society, so we buy more and more things, even if we don’t really need them.
We can buy the products personally, but instead we usually choose to do the shopping on the internet. As for me, I much prefer shopping on the internet. Not everything, because I usually buy the groceries and other food in the shop. When we speak about best selling articles, we need to check the certain country. For example what Pakistani people love and buy – the other part of world does not necessarily sell well.
Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three items from their list.
At first I would mention Jewelry. According to the research, jewelry saw a further sales growth in 2017. There was an increased demand for luxury products with materials like diamonds and gold. Apparently, the Germans are ready to pay a lot of money to have a luxury piece of jewelry, as this is one of the best selling products in this country. The second item should be Eyewear. The increasing rate of visual impairment is the key factor responsible for the growth of eyewear sales in 2017 in Germany, according to the research. The trend from previous years continues as the population ages and there are more and more people affected with presbyopia and myopia, even among the younger population. Of course, there is the matter of general eye health awareness that causes this growth in the last few years. At last, but not least, let’s see Beer. This drink never seizes to be one of our favorite alcoholic drinks and the statistics show exactly that. With the growing craft beer trends, German consumers now require some specific tastes and they are now more sophisticated when choosing their beer, at least according to the research we read. This growth is expected to continue in the future including both regional and international beer brands.
