10 Best Selling Pet Products in America

What are the best selling pet products in America? Wow, this is one of my favourites to speak about! Insider Monkey recently published an article about this topic giving us some very useful tips. I have six dogs, three Komondors (special Hungarian breed) and three wire haired dachshunds. Oh, and I shouldn’t forget my three rescued cats. So I always, always love reading anything about pet products!

Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three pet products from their list.

I am absolutely not surprised that cat litter is on the list. Until I had to keep my cats in the house (after moving to another house) they used a lot of litter a month. Now would be a good time to recall our story about the necessities, though this is not necessarily the best and most appealing way to start any list. Nevertheless, cats are the second runner-ups when it comes to pets in America. Presumably most cats are potty trained are we are so grateful for it. Unfortunately, cats don’t appreciate the difference between a flower pot and a litter box, but humans went way beyond that and invented all sorts.  There is a huge number of such products in the market, but Amazon says that Precious Cat Ultra Premium Clumping Cat Litter is most wanted. Doctors also offer great advice should you wish to dig deeper into the topic. The second products are pet feeders. Pet Safe’s  Healthy Pet Simply Feed Automatic Feeder is one of the most popular products nowadays. Oh, the things it can do. It can serve up to 12 meals per day, runs on batteries, one size fits all, and the bowl is stainless steel. Serving dry or semi-dry food has never been easier or more automatic. Make sure you catch a glimpse of it on the website. By the looks of it, one could mistake it for a coffee machine. Well, both of them serve daily necessities. The last item for today is Smart bowls. Pet feeders are fun, but people are still trying to keep that special bond in which they are the ones pouring the food directly for their adored pet to eat. The contemporary bond is endorsed by smart cell phones though. The bowl that apparently caught most of the potential buyers attention according to popular searches and Amazon  is the Petnet smart bowl.   It’s suitable for both felines and canine, and sends information to your cell phone so you don’t have to check if it’s empty or not. It  has its own measuring scale which is subtly giving information on the food amount (too bad this doesn’t exist for humans, too). Perfect for forgettable owners since it texts you about the feeding schedule.
