Let’s proceed to the list of the best whiskey countries in the world. Insider Monkey has recently published an interesting article about it. In order to get a decent bottle of whiskey, it is no longer the question what countries produce whiskey since the number is increasing, but it is rather the matter of details in production and quality measured by the distillation process, aging process, etc. Any single difference in production technique can make a huge difference in taste: type of barrels for aging, number of distillation times, level of peaty, etc.
Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three of the best whiskey countries in the world from their list.
The first country is Taiwan. Having won the 2015 award for the best malt in the world, place of Taiwan in the world of whiskey producing (and quality as well) is getting more defined, putting it among the best whiskey countries in the world. The next country can be Canada now. Canadian, as well as American whiskey, is based mostly on corn, but it is usually a blend of grains with a certain amount of rye, which is why rye whiskey became somewhat of a synonym for Canadian whiskey. At last, but not least we are mentioning the USA. Probably the best known American whiskey is the bourbon, which is a type of whiskey made primarily from corn, and most famous region and the name under which we best know bourbon is Kentucky.
