Canadian, as well as American whiskey, is based mostly on corn, but it is usually a blend of grains with a certain amount of rye, which is why rye whiskey became somewhat of a synonym for Canadian whiskey. At last, but not least we are mentioning the USA. Probably the best known American whiskey is the bourbon, which is a type of whiskey made primarily from corn, and most famous region and the name under which we best know bourbon is Kentucky.
