If you are planning to go to a university, kindly check the article about the fastest growing private universities in the US. Insider Monkey recently published an article about this topic giving you some very useful tips. Learning is the best investment I think, so it’s always worth learning at a univeristy if you want to broaden your mind, and want to change career. There are private universities as well, and although they are pretty expensive, they may give something more than the others.
Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three universities from their list.
The first one is Columbia University. Established in 1754, Columbia University is an Ivy League school located in Upper Manhattan, New York City. Over the years it has grown into one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Those who admitted here can study architecture, arts, business, engineering, arts and sciences, international and public affairs, journalism law, learn how to be a teacher, a doctor, nurse, and more. Columbia has numerous famous alumni, including three US Presidents – Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Barack Obama, – as well as 26 foreign Heads of State. Authors J.D. Salinger, Isaac Asimov, and Hunter S. Thompson also attended Columbia. Columbia’s endowment is estimated a $9 billion, and nearly 28,000 students are learning here. The second university is Northwestern University. Students can learn a lot of subjects here, from accounting information and management, to analytics, art history, applied physics, anthropology, biotechnology, civil and environmental engineering, clinical psychology, computer engineering, computer science, Earth and planetary sciences, finance, history, journalism, literature, linguistics, music, and so on. The University has the tenth largest endowment in the United States, currently valued at $9.6 billion. The value has, however, gone down a bit from over $10.2 billion the year before. The last university I have picked up from the article is MIT. Next up on the list is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the top ranking University on the Globe. Found in Cambridge, Massachusetts, MIT is one of the most prestigious universities and has been so pretty much since its inception back in 1861. MIT helps students learn a lot about numerous topics spanning several schools – architecture and planning, engineering, humanities, arts, and social sciences, management, and science. The University has over 11,000 students and a staff of over 1,000 people.
