India is not that far behind when it comes to sexual pleasure, especially 10 most sexually active cities in India that have sexual liberation index of over 36.6%.
Was I the only one who, as soon as someone would mention India, thought about people covered from head to toes, with zero sexual freedom? Although this is one half-truth, the thing is that 47% of all Indian girls lose their virginity before the age of 18.
This isn’t something that we can assign to sexual liberty. Unfortunately, Indian people are still arranging marriages among themselves and there is no age limit when it comes to that. The results are horrifying for the rest of the world. Young girls that didn’t even turn 15 are getting married to men that are sometimes even older than their fathers. Of course, they are not only obligated to cook and clean after their husbands but to give birth to their babies as well. It sounds disgusting to us who are used to being in love and change partners until we find someone that we personally choose to spend our lives with, but in India, this is a completelly appropriate thing that is among residents of India for centuries. According to the UN report from 2013, 28.5% of Indian women had their first child before the age of 18. More surprising fact is that marriage between children and children and adults isn’t only present in India. During the 10-year period between 2000 and 2010, New York State recorded 3,853 marriages where at least one of spouses was a child.
But besides those marriages that would be illegal in other parts of the world, the unwanted pregnancies and spread of STIs are also huge problems in this country, especially because in many cases, parents are disclaiming their children because they are ashamed of them or they are hiding them from the public.
But even so, India is definitely one of the countries with the most active sexual life. When Insider Monkey made a list of 10 most sexually active countries in the world, India took the fifth place. It seems that sexual intercourse isn’t just their obligation, but the pleasure as well.
