10 Real World Problems that Can Be Solved with Technology

Since technology took over our life completely and there is basically anything we can do without the help of some tech device, Insider Monkey’s research team recently found the great and very useful topic to cover: 10 real world problems that can be solved with technology.

Technology is the fastest growing industry that found its way to crawl into each other sector of human’s life. The technology device that we are using most often on a daily basis is our smartphones and it isn’t anything unusual for a person to enter some social network on their smartphones the minute they open their eyes. To be honest, what regular people mostly do on a daily basis via their smartphones is socializing. The most used social platforms are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Viber, and Whatsapp that are all mostly used for chatting and uploading pictures, and, of course, following other people’s accounts and looking at their pictures.

But since we already have access to basically everything via our smartphones, why wouldn’t we use it for some good cause? Android, Windows, and iOS developers are offering us nowadays the variety of apps that we can use on a regular basis to improve ourselves and the whole society in general.

Instead of playing games and watching ridiculous YouTube videos for a whole day, we can find some tests or informative blogs and improve our knowledge in some field. Instead of making your 9-year-old nephew or own child a Facebook account, you can download him or her some educational games or register him or her to some educational website to practice their knowledge and better understand some school subjects. Each new generation that comes is somehow behind in some field, although they have better access to new information than we and especially our ancestors had before. They had to look for different books and magazines, waste their time on TV and radio shows, and discover things on their own. On the bright side, they had most of the knowledge in their pinky, which is why they will always be too far away from the newer generation.

The problem that occurred with the development of the technology is that it doesn’t go along with the humanity. Instead of being the great resource and pushing the whole evolution in front, the only thing going forward is the technology by itself, while the humanity stays far behind and still doesn’t seem like it has a chance of catching up, which, at least I believe so, wasn’t the initial idea of technology evolution. But what’s the reason of it?

Well, people just look like they gave up on themselves. Since they already have access to everything, without even need to consult some expert, they decided that it is a far better idea to take as better smartphone as they can afford and download every app that might come helpful in some moment. But not as an informative source, but as the brain. Whenever we are traveling, we are using Google Maps from the moment we exit our home and spend the whole trip by the driver watching the road and getting the instruction from some passenger who looks at their smartphone or any other navigation device instead. On the other hand, our ancestors could manage to make their way in every situation and learned a lot more than we are nowadays. We can now close their eyes with some kind of fabric and they will, without any problem, find their way back every time.

It is exactly the same with all science areas. People are nowadays using a calculator for calculating 2 times 2, which is totally unbelievable and ridiculous and definitely not something that inventors had in mind when they brainstormed the whole structure of internet and technology devices.

So, let’s stop spending our time and useful resources on calculating two simple numbers and help humanity and ourselves in improving our life. If you don’t know how to do it, Insider Monkey has some suggestions that you can find on its original website. So check out their suggestions for 10 real world problems that can be solved with technology.
