11 Best Chocolate Making Classes in New York City

Or are you just planning to study it? As for me I really love love chocolate (actually, who doesn’t?). Decorating is one of my favorite hobbies, aside baking. But what is true that we can always learn something new, something exciting in the kitchen. I love checking new recipes everywhere; what’s more I registered lots of baking sites, blogs in order to learn as many recipes as I can. The first “real” flowers were made of fondant, and I still make lots of things of this material. The first flower was so nice that I couldn’t believe it. In order to create their list, Insider Monkey used ClassCurious‘ database as their source to determine what some of the best chocolate classes in New York City are. This site is always a great help if you want to search some excellent classes in any fields.

We have picked three classes from Insider Monkey’s list for now: Raaka – Factory Tour & Tasting; Chocolate Story Time and Chocolate Making 101 – Children. Raaka – Factory Tour & Tasting costs $15. It is for those how are low on budget but still want to learn how to make chocolate. The price includes includes a factory tour and bean-to-bar chocolate making. With a class size of around 16 students, you will learn how to make your own unique chocolate bars and surprise your significant other, family or friends with delicious gifts. Chocolate Story Time costs $22 and up. IT is in the Upper West Side. It offers classes for kids and adults as well. For kids, the age requirements are 2 to 6 years old and the class consists of an average of 12 children.  In this class, kids will try the essential techniques by making anything from a simpler chocolate bar to dinosaur shapes and truffles. The third one is Chocolate Making 101 – Children. Its price is $65 and beginners can start it, too. The age requirements are from 3 to 14 years and the average class size consists of 8 students. The children will be taught by Tache owner Aditi Malhotra and in an hour and a half, they will learn different things about chocolate making like tasting, cultivating and decorating.
