I usually avoid watching movies that have something to do with weed because I have really bad experience with drugs. I am surrounded by many drug and alcohol addicts and I really try to avoid any closer contact with them since I can never know what those people can do.
There was one time when a guy that we knew for years since he was just a kid getting addicted to cigarettes, called and asked my ex to be a witness when the police arrive. It turned out that he was using weed for a long time, started selling it after a while and discovered that he would have more use if he had his own plant. Of course, it wasn’t that long until cops ringed his doorbell and got him. But, the law is strict and it requires someone to be there when they take something away as the clue. So, for some reason, he thought that it would be a great idea to call my ex. Even though he had nothing to do with it, he would be the one in their records and always connected to him. We had a baby boy. Why would he risk it? Luckily for that guy, he wasn’t that big fish so they let him go. But I still avoid contact with him on the street, just in case.
But I know what kind of things weed can do to people. It is just one step to the disaster. As said before, I am surrounded by people using weed so I notice the change in their behavior after only 2 to 3 smokes. I can’t even imagine what would happen to them if they took the whole joint by themselves. Honestly, I got scared by them. Their eyes are different, their moves are strange, even their talk is scary. They say that it is just like being drunk. Honestly, I saw many drunk people in my life and no one ever looked like them. But I honestly considered giving up drinks for a while, just in case I really looked like an idiot after two glasses of wine.
