Being a member of an ethnic group means being a part of a group of people who are sharing the tradition, language, and social views. On the other side, a race is a grouping of humans who share physical traits like skin color, hair, and facial features. According to PBS, black is someone who has African ancestry. Since the world is one big melting pot of different races as well as cultures, after generations of interracial mixing, it is not easy to answer the question above. If you carry at least one drop of so-called “black blood,” you are considered as black. Then, what about mulatto or colored? As you can see, it is not easy to precisely determine who belongs to the black race and who isn’t. It is more a question of a “feeling” than history and science.

The first one is Finland. If you can stand the subarctic climate, Finland  is a country worth a visit, and it can become a potential place to live as well. People are polite and modest, and Finland has one of the best educational systems in the world. Its population counts 5,542,517 citizens, and most of them are Finn, although we can’t forget the minorities as Swedes, Russian,  Estonian, Romani, and Sami. The second one is Croatia. Have you wondered where you should retire? Well, in Croatia, a country in southeast Europe which ranks 8th on our list of countries with no black population in the world, you are exempted from paying taxes which puts this country high on the best retirement countries list. Its population has reached 4,164,783 citizens, mostly Croat, followed by Serbs and other minorities such as Bosniak, Hungarian, Slovene Czech and Romani. At last, but not least here’s Cyprus. It is an island country, and it is a major destination for many tourists, mostly because of its history, tradition, and culture. With a population of 1,189,085, it is one of the most populated islands in the world. Most of its population is Greek, but there are other ethnic groups as well like Maronite, Armenian, Turkish-Cypriot.
