12 Biggest and Best Fireworks Displays Around the World

Now let’s take a jump into the world of biggest and best fireworks displays around the world. Insider Monkey has recently published an interesting article about this topic. I pretty like watching fireworks and when we celebrate our country’s Foundation August 20, we can see amazing fireworks everywhere in the country. But at these times we need to take care of our animals, because many of them are afraid of it.  Our fireworks in the capital lasted more than half an hour this year, which of course can’t break the world record, but we had a ver good time there.

Fireworks were invented by Chinese, and were used during religious rituals, with belief that they could scare off evil spirits. Current world record for the largest firework display, was achieved at the countdown to 2016 by Church of Christ in the Philippines, the fireworks lasted for more than one hour, with 810,904 fireworks.

Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three fireworks from their list as usual.

The first one is Guy Fawkes Night – London. Guy Fawkes, was one of the conspirators that wanted to blow up the House of Lords, on 5 of November 1605. The plan failed, and he was caught. The 5 of November was known as a Gunpowder Treason Day, but over the course of time it became known as Guy Fawkes Night/Day or Bonfire Night. Probably the main reason for this is the custom to burn effigies of Guy Fawkes on the bonfires. Now let’s check the second amazing fireworks on our list: Montreal International Fireworks Competition. The largest competition in the world, that lasts about a month, usually starting in July. Each of competitors delivers a firework that lasts for 30 minutes. Now that is probably a paradise city for fireworks lovers, at least while the competition lasts. At last, but not least we are mentioning the National Day – Singapore. Singapore’s National Day, is on August 9th. A huge parade that ends with beautiful fireworks, however tickets cannot be bought for the parade, only citizens and permanent residents in Singapore can get them. If you check Insider Monkey’s article you can see wonderful videos about fireworks mentioned.
