It’s true that the state of women rights is slowly improving, but the nation still has plenty to do in this department. The second country on our short list should be Malaysia. Gender distribution may not be the best in Malaysia, but it is an extremely diverse area with several religions and ethnic groups residing within it. Malaysia has made huge jumps in the past two decades and has set an example for other developing countries. Its economy boosted by natural resources, tourism, and commerce among other things has shown enormous growth, which of course bodes well for the country. At last, but not least we are mentioning Maldives. Another South Asian nation, Maldives is truly a beautiful place with breathtaking islands and beautiful beaches. Unsurprisingly, the country earns exorbitant amounts from tourism. Just recently, however, a state of emergency was imposed in the Maldives. Whether the destination’s reputation as a heavenly vacation spot is damaged remains to be seen.
