Both fresh and dried organic figs, one of the most profitable organic crops in America, are some of the healthiest fruits on the planet as well, choke-full of nutrients and vitamins. Ancient Greeks knew of their benefits and hold them in such esteem that, at one point, prohibited their export, leaving the entire production available for domestic consumption.
