Mexico is a beautiful country, but it’s often said to be dangerous – so let’s check out the safest places to visit in Mexico that are beautiful and cheap. We see a lot of unpleasant things on TV about a certain place or read about awful murders in the newspapers, and then we completely avoid a beautiful destination with a lot of attractions. While we do have reasons to be concerned for our safety sometimes, it is completely irrational to avoid an entire country because of a few possibly dangerous places. The first one is Huatulco. It is used to be a fishing village, and now it’s a great resort destination where you can spend your next holiday. You can do all sorts of things in Huatulco such as snorkeling, diving, visiting coffee farms, etc. If you are traveling on a budget and looking for a beautiful place to be, Huatulco is your answer. The lowest price we found is $52 per one night. The second place to go should be Tlaxcala. Tlaxcala is a true architectural colonial gem that you must visit if you are looking for beautiful and cheap places in Mexico. It features museums, botanic gardens, archeological sites and many other attractions that make this place a good and safe destination for a family holiday. The lowest price we found is $51 per one night. At last, but not least we are recommending Puebla which is a beautiful little place with about 1,5 million residents and many stunning cathedrals. This place often referred to as “mini” Mexico City is actually only two hours away by bus from the capital city. While you’re there, you can visit the museum devoted to ancient artifacts. Puebla is also a quite inexpensive destination. The lowest price we found is $45 per one night.
