Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three of the biggest animals in the world found alive from their list.

The first animal on our list can be the giraffe. The biggest specimen that was recorded was 20 ft! Wow, i can’t even imagine such a huge animal! This tallest giraffe ever recorded was George, a huge Masai male who lived in Chester Zoo in Kenya, who died in 1969. He was 20 ft tall (19ft tall with 1 ft long horns). World’s biggest living giraffe is named Zulu; he lives at Folly Farm Zoo in Pembrokeshire, Britain, and he is 19 feet tall. Once I would be happy to see him. The next large animal on our list now should be a shark, that was 20,3 ft. I must confess I’m extremely fear of sharks. It’s funny but when I went to Greece I asked the tourist.  guide many time if there were really not sharks in the sea. However fearsome they might seem, one of the biggest animals in the world found alive are actually endangered more by us than we are by them, of course. Great white sharks are vulnerable, endangered species thanks to overhunting by humans. It’s horrible when sharks are hunted for their flappers (to eat them), people cut their flippers off and then they throw the sharks back into the ocean…. If a shark can’t swim it drowns…. I firmly believe that there are not as cruel creatures as humans. According to some sources, the biggest white shark (confirmed) was caught in 1983 on the shores of Canada being 20.3 ft long. The last animal we are mentioning now is a giant squid, that was 43 feet! Mighty Kraken, giant sea monster attacking ships, has fired the imagination of many generations; many myths were created about it, and it still awakens awe and fear in those who still hope it is still out there somewhere wandering the cold northern seas. But anyway- the largest specimen was “only” 43 feet.
