Now we are coming up with a funny topic: countries with the tallest and shortest people in the world. Insider Monkey’s latest article was very amusing but interesting to read. As for me, tall men have always charmed me, but I don’t make differences among people just because of their height. The result of this article is really interesting for me, as I thought the Swedish people would be the tallest. In according to the shortest ones…. I had no the slightest idea. Let me take you the land of tallest and shortest people in the world!
Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three countries with the tallest and shortest people in the world from their list.
We can find the tallest people in these countries:
The first country is Czech Republic. Czech Republic’s beautiful capital of Prague, its castles, and its amazing beer are more than enough to make it breathtakingly beautiful. Its tall people, however, make the experience even better, or is that a weird thing to say? The second country is Slovenia that is a minuscule nation when it comes to the size of its population with only a little above 2 million people residing within it. However, the literal size of the country’s people is not small at all. The third country is Norway, which was not surprising for me that it’s on the list. Norway is the dream vacation spot, and its people are luckier in more ways than one with its men averaging a height of 5 feet 11.75 inches!
And the shortest people can be found in these countries:
The first country is Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka’s women are quite short as they don’t even come up to the 5 feet mark, averaging 4 feet 11.5 inches. The second country on the list is Nepal. The shortest man ever to grace the Earth, Chandra Dangi, was also from Nepal. Sadly, he passed away in 2015, but Nepal still remains among the shortest countries. At last, but not least, let’s check Indonesia. Indonesia has the shortest males in the world: they have an average height of 5 feet 2.25 inches, a height if seen in other countries is considered extremely short even for females!
