Their study also estimates that nearly 20 million new sexually transmitted infections happen each year in the U.S. Among half of those, 20 million they say, affects young people ages 15-24. As you can see, a good chunk of that age group includes college students. The number of people who have STDs is per 100,000 while the number of a sexual assault is per 10,000. Obviously this list is meant to be informative, and you should not base your decision as to which university to attend off this list. It’s important to note that STDs are at every university and a high rate of STDs does not reflect upon a university’s academic strengths.

The sex ratio is 56% male and 44% female students meaning there are 17,692 male students and 13,900 female. Considering the sexual exposure, students of the University of Utah aren’t missing their classes in the bedroom. The second college is University of Maryland. The male – female ratio at the University of Maryland is 53% male students and 47% female students. There are 38,140 students in total in this university and considering there are 20,214 male and 17,926 female students, no wonder it is one of the most sexually active universities. The third college is University of Wisconsin-Madison. In the University of Wisconsin-Madison, there are 49% male students and 51% female students. Also, there are countless opportunities for students outside of the classroom and partying and getting laid seems to be the most frequent activity among others which is one of the main reason why this university found its way among the most sexually active colleges in USA. At last let’s check Pennsylvania State University-Main Campus. In the Pennsylvania State University – Main Campus there are 54% male students and 46% female. The total number of students is 47,307 meaning there are 25,546 male students and 21,761 female. This is one of the best colleges in the United States with an acceptance rate of 51.3% but also one of the most sexually active.
