5 Largest Chemical Companies in the World

After publishing about the largest pharma and biotech companies, Insider Monkey has come up with the list of the 5 largest chemical companies in the world. There are further sub-industries, such as Specialty Chemicals, Diversified Chemicals, Commodity Chemicals, Industrial Gases and Fertilizers & Agricultural Chemicals. Therefore, chemicals producers take part in wide range of segments of industries, from fertilizers for the agriculture industry to users of high value-added chemicals, adhesives, ultimately producing fine chemicals ,pigments and coatings additives, advanced polymers, sealants and specialty paints.

It had a total sale of $63,244 m in 2019. Sinopac is the biggest dsitributor of petrochemicals in China, producing synthetic fiber monomers and polymers, synthetic fiber,synthetic resin, synthetic rubber and chemical fertilizers and many other products.
