I think it’s never too late to study or to get your diploma. It’s just a question of strong will and decision. Of course, you can find ways that are easier than the others. So how can you pass the GED test fast?
People who want to change their life can sign up for the GED test, and they will get the opportunity to demonstrate high school level skills and knowledge. While many can be apprehensive to take the test, many see it as a huge opportunity and grab the first chance to pass it. This test consists of four or five tests, depending on the state. Those that do have five tests, include subject like language arts reading and writing, social studies, science, and mathematics.
Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three states from their list.
The first one is Idaho, where the pass rate is 89.5%. In Idaho, there are 139,725 adults without a high school credential. 6,384 people took the GED test back in 2013 while 5,394 people completed it. The completion rate was 84.5%, and 4,829 people passed it which makes the pass rate 89.5%. There are four content areas; social studies, science, mathematical reasoning, and reasoning through language and arts. Each GED test costs $30. The second one is South Dakota pass rate is 90.5%. Considering the fact that 858,469 people are living in South Dakota, the number of adults who are still living without any high school credential isn’t something you want to neglect. Back in 2013, there were 81,935 people without any high school credential, and only 2,027 candidates signed up for the GED test. Something more than a half, 1,215 completed the test and 1,100 of them passed it. At last, but not least we are mentioning Kansas, where the pass rate is 93.3%. Kansas is home to nearly 3 million people but did you know that 272,595 adults out of the total population in Kansas are still living without a high school credential? The number is pretty high, and you would expect a lot of people to take their chance to get the job they want by passing the GED test, but in 2013, only 4,034 people signed up for it. 3,843 finished the test completely while 3,586 of them passed it.
