7 Hardest Instruments to Learn to Play in a Marching Band

Everyone believes that it takes to be a nerd to be in a marching band but no one knows how difficult it is to those people to remember their choreography, carry those instruments and play at the same time. And who has the hardest time of all? People who play any of 7 hardest instruments to learn to play in a marching band.

Yes, it is the truth. Marching band is for geeks. You can hate me for saying it but it is clear and it have been like that since the beginning of the marching band. And marching band isn’t just like that because people say so but because of the members of the marching band. Somehow, it can attract only the ones that are considered in wider circles to be the geeks. Luckily, they don’t care. They might be geeks but they are capable of doing three things at the time: play, carry and dance. Could you?

And why did I even start this topic like that? Well, sure, they are good and their routine is hard and impossible to most of us, including me. And stop lying to yourself! You would have a hard time as well! I know it, they know it, and you do too, my friend.

One of the easiest instrument to play is the drums. No, they aren’t real,  but they are easier than the others. But no matter what, imagine yourself carrying it around and playing while trying to make sure not to miss any step. Impossible, if you ask me. I am more into being in the audience, clapping and cheering to them and the players that come after them.

Before we move on to the list of 7 hardest instruments to learn to play in marching band, let’s see which instruments exist in a marching band in the first place.

First of all, there are the brass instruments. Those are trumped, cornet, tuba, and French horn. After them, there come the woodwinds. To be more specific, there come oboe, saxophone, flute, and clarinet. And the last, but not the least important, although I find them the easiest, the percussion instruments: glockenspiel, timpani, cymbals, bass drum, and xylophone. So, what do you think?
