The Best Chocolate Classes in New York City

Now we have brought an exciting list from Insider Monkey: the best chocolate classes in NYC. Do you like baking? Or baking and decorating it with chocolate? Or are you just planning to study it? As for me I really love baking. It is one of my favorite hobbies, aside cooking. But what is true that we can always learn something new, something exciting in the kitchen. I love checking new recipes everywhere; what’s more I registered lots of baking sites, blogs in order to learn as many recipes as I can. The first “real” flowers were made of fondant, and I still make lots of things of this material. The first flower was so nice that I couldn’t believe it. Are you interested in learning about chocolate? Insider Monkey recently published an article in which we can find lots of interesting facts about his topic.

I have never tried to make anything of chocolate but I have always wanted to learn it. When I hear the word „chocolate” the film „Chocolate” comes to my mind immediately. Have you seen this movie? If not, you should.

In order to create their list, Insider Monkey used ClassCurious‘ database as their source to determine what some of the best chocolate classes in New York City are. This site is always a great help if you want to search some excellent classes in any fields. We have picked one class from their list for now: JoMart Chocolates. JoMart has all of the charm that you would imagine from the oldest candy factory in Brooklyn. Owner Michael Rogak is the son of a candymaker, and he began working in the candy industry at JoMart when he was just nine. This company has turned out to be quite the family affair, and now his wife, daughters, and grandchildren are all members of the JoMart working team. Classes at JoMart Chocolates are designed to be entertaining as well as educational. You will gain knowledge, get to do a “relaxed tasting”, partake in some skill demos, and get started on some great chocolate projects. Some of the skills you will gain include hand-dipping, hand-tempering, molding, and of course, tasting! This course is said to be perfect for those who love chocolate and love laughing, and never meant to intimidate or overload students. Sounds pretty universally-appealing to me! Rogak has been fortunate enough to spend his whole life around chocolate, and loves nothing more than sharing his family’s passion for the sweet stuff with students.
